Elevate your learning in our highly interactive, and engaging group classes! At Young Actors HQ, we focus on a tools and techniques based approach, providing our students with the fundamental skills to create grounded and truthful performances. It is NEVER about the lines - but the characters, emotions and intentions that live behind those lines. Our programs combine practical exercises, engaging partner work, script work, emotionality development, improvisation, self-tape practice and more! We take a very tailored approach to our teaching, meeting the actor where they are at! Whether you are a developing or experienced actor, we have a program for you!
Fall Programs!
Our 8 week long fall programs are a deep dive into skill building! Each week we will focus on specific tools and techniques to stretch our acting instrument! We get on our feet a LOT. Actors will be guided through exercises to bring more confidence to their acting, in a highly engaging and supportive environment. This is not your normal acting class. Throughout the week, students will engage in group exercises, partner scenes and individual work, and walk away with the tools to bring their acting to new heights!
Fall term runs Tuesday September 24 - Sunday November 24. There is one break with NO CLASSES from Tuesday October 8 - Monday October 14.

Advanced: The Actor's Bootcamp!
Back by popular demand, is our advanced, Actor's Bootcamp. This program is by application only and meant for the experienced actor. These actors have on set experience, are ready for a challenge and eager to push themselves to the next level! This program is lead by series lead actress, Tiera Skovbye. This will be a rigorous term of learning - tapping into fundamental tools and techniques to take your acting to new heights!

Rising Stars: Summer Programs
This program is geared towards both developing and experienced actors who are ready to dive into learning in a highly engaging, fast paced and fun environment. Each week students will discover new techniques to build confidence on camera, discover different characters, work on film & tv scripts and find their creative potential!

Raising the Bar: Summer Programs
Get ready to take on challenging material, stretch your acting instrument and take ownership of your career. Students will work through techniques to tap into their emotional core, discover and embody different characters, understand how to influence others and be affected by others through advanced partner work and put their work into practice by diving into current film & tv scripts!

Acting Fundamentals
Brand new to film & tv acting and want to get your foot in the door? This program is for you! We will dive into the fundamental tools and techniques to understand breakdowns, audition techniques, commercial scripts, film & tv scripts, the world of improvisation and more! Learn to build confidence on camera, tackle new skills, and build your acting community in a highly engaging and supportive environment.

Voice Over Essentials
Get ready to dive into the world of Voice Over! Students will learn proper voice over techniques, understand how to approach animation and commercial scripts, discover how to unlock their creative voices and learn to record, edit and submit auditions from the comfort of your home!
